Okay, I just didn't use any social media yesterday(And part of the day before.) And during this time I came across the idea of highly advanced robots that could 'feel love'(It wouldn't be true love just programming of course.)
But this meant that robots could fall in love with each other. So how would robot kids work?
Well, I've thought about it!
So there'd be a 'female' file that would hold the kid's code, and 'she' would also have a piece of code. The 'male' would have a piece of code as well. The 'male' code would be transferred to the 'female.' 'Her' code would sense the 'male' code and activate both of them creating a robot's code.
At a certain point, the 'female' would no longer have the data space to hold the child. Then she'd have to transfer the files into a robot with no code.
If robots were programmed with maternal instincts then making robot hulls that look like different ages would be a good business. It'd be like upgrading your phone if you run out of data.
The robots transfer data into the baby model, and it starts working on itself, as that's what robots do. Then it runs out of space to work more; you transfer them to a kid. They start working harder. They need more room.
When they become a teenager, the real magic happens, and all that sentience and emotion stuff really hits them hard. Then you upgrade them to grown up and send them into the world.
Now comes the question of robot STDs and protection.
